Solitary 35 Ultralight Climbing Pack

Solitary 35 Ultralight Climbing Pack

Description

We have combined our knowledge and experience with the latest technology in ultralight materials to make the ultimate 35L ultralight mountaineering/climbing pack. Named after one of the most iconic features in the Blue Mountains, the Solitary 35 combines the trifecta of ultralight, durability and comfort.

This pack has been tested in the fierce Australian bush, Mt Denali, the alpine peaks of Europe and the vast Red Rock of Nevada. Designed by a team of people that have decades of experience is climbing, mountaineering and hiking, we know you will love this pack as much as we do.

It is our view that simplicity is a feature - this pack has all the features you require in a good Alpine/Climbing day pack and nothing more. The lightweight and streamlined design means that the pack sits close to the body, reducing fatigue and torsional strain to maximise your performance.

All materials used are waterproof and all of the seams have been taped sealed to deliver a weatherproof pack that will perform in varying conditions. The Solitary 35 has all of the features required to ensure that it carries a load comfortably, including a fully moldable frame sheet, load lifters and easy to use pull-forward hip belt. All of these components work together to distribute the load to the right areas, greatly reducing fatigue and torsional strain.

How to Measure Back Length:

  1. Locate the top of your hipbone (pelvic crest) on the side of your body. (Note: the pelvic crest slopes down at the front – but we are interested in the location of the highest point of your pelvis).

  2. Approximate the top of your hipbone in your lumbar region, on your spine. Wrap the tape measure horizontally from the top of your hipbone to the spine to confirm this position if required. Make a note of this location.

  3. Locate your C7 vertebrae. This is the highest bony protrusion on the back of your neck and is roughly in line with where your trapezius meets your neck. Make a note of this location.

  4. Measure the length between your C7 vertebrae and the location you found on your lumbar spine in step 2.
