The Alpine AP 50 is the ultimate mountaineering pack, designed for lightweight performance that you can rely on in varying terrain. The pack has fully taped seams and weatherproof front stash pocket to keep your gear dry in all weather conditions. The Alpine AP 50 provides versatility in any terrain. The pack comes with ice axe holders, glove friendly buckles and long compression straps to strap on a sleep mat. There is an Ultralight internal pouch that clips into the front stash pocket to ensure you keep your valuables secure. The dual hipbelt pockets provide easy access to snacks and your mobile. Weighing only 980 grams - this pack is perfect for the highest mountain peaks in the world.

The body of the pack is made from UHMWPE - Ultra 200 X (White) or DCF (Blue) which has a tensile strength that is 15x stronger than steel. It is incredibly lightweight, abrasion resistant, waterproof, UV resistant and is incredibly hard to tear.

We have carefully selected the best materials to ensure that we get ultralight performance with the durablility that you expect in a mountaineering pack.

This pack comes with unbreakable alloy hip belt buckle - that cannot ice up or become brittle with the cold.

How to Measure Back Length:

Locate the top of your hipbone (pelvic crest) on the side of your body. (Note: the pelvic crest slopes down at the front – but we are interested in the location of the highest point of your pelvis).
Approximate the top of your hipbone in your lumbar region, on your spine. Wrap the tape measure horizontally from the top of your hipbone to the spine to confirm this position if required. Make a note of this location.
Locate your C7 vertebrae. This is the highest bony protrusion on the back of your neck and is roughly in line with where your trapezius meets your neck. Make a note of this location.
Measure the length between your C7 vertebrae and the location you found on your lumbar spine in step 2.
